Log in to Karl

Everyone with a DSW number can log in

Every City and County of San Francisco employee can log in to Karl.

To edit pages, users will need to take training and get permissions added to their account.

  • Users moving from Drupal to Karl only need to take this training, "Meet Karl"

  • Users who have never worked on SF.gov must take SF.gov Foundations and create a sample page.

First login

The first time you log into Karl, and every time before you get permissions on your account, you'll see:

  • A message that you do not yet have permission to work in Karl

  • A link to sign up for training.

Anyone who wants to get trained on Karl can use that link to sign up for training.

If a user is only logging in to see a preview of a draft page, they can go directly to that page after seeing this screen.
