Lock and unlock a page

Lock a page to prevent others editing it

You are able to lock a page, or prevent others from editing it, in Karl.

1. Find either the lock/unlock option in the right menu:

or the lock icon in the top bar:

2. Click Lock to "lock out" other SF.gov editors. Only you can

• edit the page while the lock is in place

• unlock the page

1. To unlock, click the Lock button, or lock icon in the top bar, again. It should appear unchecked. Other SF.gov editors can now edit the page.
