Edit a component

Edit what's in the text field (or other interactive element)

Once you've added a component, or if you're working on an existing component:

  • Click into the text field

  • Add your content, then format using the options in the formatting bar

In some cases, a component may have other types of interactive fields than text fields. Just like with text, fill in the field before saving the page. Here's an example with radio buttons:

Adding a link opens a menu, and you must choose internal or external.

  • Internal links are SF.gov pages

  • External links are anything that is not an SF.gov page. This includes files that are uploaded to SF.gov, since these are not pages.

When adding an internal link, search for the SF.gov page.
